Why I Love the Knitting Community

Why I Love the Knitting Community.

This is written by the young lady who is now the very happy possessor of half of my stash.  It looks like she’s been busy sorting!  I am so happy that my stash has brought someone so much joy and encourage those of us who, like me, have decades of carefully stored fibers, patterns, yarns (etc.) to give them to a fiber artist just starting to exercise her creative muscles!

I got a little freaked out when I read that this entry was posted in the category “Dying.” I wondered if that is why you reduced your stash by half. But…it should be “dyeing,” right?

Oh boy….all that wonderful….jewel-colored roving wool, just waiting to be spun and worked into a weaving!! What a wonderful thing to do to a fellow fiber artist: encourage more fiber arts. 😀
